About this Cook
I'm a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
My favorite things to cook
Depends on my mood and how much time I have to cook.
My cooking triumphs
Peacan Butterscotch Cheesecake for a co-workers bachlorette party. Anything I cook for my brothers - they love whatever I cook ... don't know if thats a good thing, or if they'll just eat anything LOL
My cooking tragedies
Attempting to make sushi ... turned out way too huge and fell apart, the rice was WAY too sticky, and the nori (seaweed) was unchewable ... but the second time I made it was a success! Just didnt have the best filling (just marinated beef strips - I didn't feel like leaving the house so I used what I had!)

Broccoli Beef I
This was very tasty. I think maybe next time I will let the beef marinade in the mixture (minus the flour) prior to cooking since it didnt seem to take up much of the flavor. The broccoli was very flavorful though. I also added pasta ( I can't stay away from my starches ). Will cook again! EDIT: I made this again and added some salt to the beef. I think that's what was missing the first time I made this. It was delicious! Now I give it 5 stars instead of 4

Praline Cheesecake
Made this for a co-workers bachlorette party. The next day people were telling me how good the cake was! The changes I made were using only vanilla extract(could not find any of the rum) and I added some extra detailing with butterscotch icing and pralines on top of the cake

Perfect Sushi Rice
This recipe is really good. I did make a couple of changes. I didn't use the oil, I used white vinager, and instead of sugar I used Splenda (tastes just as good!). I've only recently gotten into eatting sushi, so hopefully I will be making this more often! Can't wait to show this to my brothers since they love sushi.
