The flavor was good, but I noticed the leftovers were extremely greasy, even after skimming the fat from the broth, so we could only eat this the day I made it.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Really good cookie. I used a standard size ice cream scoop (which is 1/4 cup) to measure these out so they would be uniform and bake evenly. I agree that two cups of chocolate chips is way too much for the amount of batter. I will cut back to 1 and 1/2 cups for my next batch.

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

Awesome recipe! I used rotisserie chicken breast to make the prep easier and I baked the tortilla chips on a cookie sheet that had been sprayed with vegetable oil for four minutes so it would not get soggy.

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Good twist on florentine chicken. I liked the combination of alfredo and pesto sauce. I used skim milk in my alfredo mix to make it a little less heavy. I also did not have any penne pasta in the house, so I used a pound of orzo and mixed it with the chicken, spinach and sauce and we really liked it.

This did not work out for me at all. I followed the recipe exactly as written and after 45 minutes on high and 6 hours on low in the slow cooker, this was a slimy mess. Sorry!

Pork Butt Roast with Vegetables

Brined Bratwurst

YUM! The balsamic vinegar really gave these brats a nice tang. It was too cold out to grill these, so I put them under the broiler until they were browned and crispy and served them on hoagie rolls with spicy mustard.
