These were so perfect for Halloween. They were a huge hit at the party. I read the reviews regarding how these cookies were bland and I almost didn't make them. I'm glad I did make them. They tasted excellent and I made them exactly as the recipe stated. I didn't find them bland at all. These are shortbread cookies after all. They aren't suppose to be sugary. Definitely a huge hit!

These were really good. I doubled the recipe and put in a 9 x 13 pan.
