I'm a stay at home mom with 2 very young and picky little girls. My husband hates pretty much every food I love most. I'm really not a graceful cook, but I sure make some yummy stuff. Most nights, anything quick and easy, and of course tasty! I love my crockpot. We are a family of tweakers. I don't think we ever follow a recipe as-is. I have real skill with creating delicious meals from a nearly-empty fridge and pantry. I made my first pot roast and I failed miserably. The meat was too dry and chewy (although it did TASTE good!), and I'd added in the veggies too late and they weren't completely cooked through. Oh, and if I ever have more than 2 things on the stove at once, something will most certainly get burned.
