I am a just-retired bank officer. Love to bake and cook in that order. Mom to a daughter who is in college. When others enjoy my baking/cooking, it makes my day. Still trying to hone my culinary skills. Things baked and cooking of dinners now and then. Cakes, breads, buns and pies plus some Asian savory and sweet dishes. For baking, I usually follow American recipes as I find these are very often fuss-free, simple and easy in view of my lack of experience. I hope to try the more sophisticated recipes later on but till then, I am happy to plod along and slowly upgrade my knowledge thru Allrecipes' website and with help from its members who have been most helpful to every question of mine. 3 Cheers for Allrecipes and its members!
