Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
Delicious. Even my boyfriend who doesn't like for me to cook with ground turkey LOVED this meatloaf. I thought it was even better than my beef version. I used grated cheese, additional seasonings, chopped onions, and worcestershire sauce. You can dress this up any way you like. I would recommend making extra sauce for the top and draining the extra juices from the pan about three quarters of the way through cooking time.

My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
totally easy and delicious. i used a tecate beer, boneless chops seasoned to my taste, sweet baby rays honey bbq sauce, added some a-1, worcestershire, and brown sugar. i also cooked uncovered for the last 20 minutes to thicken the sauce. these chops were tender and flavorful.

Easy Morning Glory Muffins

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
these were tasty and easy except for the grating part. they were a bit oily. i should have taken other reviewers advice and used applesauce in place of the oil. i would also use a tad bit less carrot.

Zucchini Patties

These definitely needed some spices for flavor. Other than that they were pretty simple and tasty. Not one of my family's favs though.

Southern Fried Cabbage

Definitely remove the bacon from the pan after frying and add to cabbage before serving. Great side dish, or even main course with some cornbread. Yummm.

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. It's great because you can add your own favorite pizza toppings. We used pepperoni, hamburger, bacon, sausage, onion, and jalapeno.

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
I doubled this recipe for three of us, added some chopped onions in with the hamburger meat, and probably used extra seasonings and a little extra ketchup and water, as we like our sloppy joes extra sloppy! This recipe makes a sweeter sloppy joe and its delicious. I added some cayenne pepper for some spice.

Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
My family loved this! Its like Thanksgiving anytime and its easy. I used a rotisserie chicken already cooked from the grocery store and pretty much followed the rest of the recipe exactly. I did use whole milk instead of evaporated. Great recipe!

Tater Tot Casserole II

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
This recipe needs a few changes. I added a lb of seasoned up hamburger meat, cut the sour cream in half, added a cup or so of cheese, used extra crispy tots, added a small amount of milk, and waited until the last 20 minutes to add the french fried onions to the top. This required about 90 minutes of cooking time for me. The tots just weren't getting done. It needs some garlic powder and onion powder and you could add some veggies to it as well. Good dish. I can't wait to fry some up with some eggs later tonight.

Corn Dog Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
Great recipe! I have used beef hot dogs or turkey dogs and this turned out great. I didn't use the sage or green onions but added a little onion salt and some precut frozen onions. I also cut out the celery because I don't like the taste but added a can of green chilis. It gave the casserole a nice kick and both my fiance and 20 month old loved it. It also tastes good with a little Franks hot sauce on top. Oh, and I did use more cheese than in the recipe but didn't put any on top until the last five minutes. And I only needed to cook mine about 20 minutes so I would watch it really closely after about 18 minutes.
