About this Cook
I'm a stay-at-home Dad to 2 awesome kids ages 7/5. My wife is an Active Duty Military Nurse Practitioner with a demanding schedule. I've been home with the kids since they were born and as a result most of the cooking duties fall on me...which is great since I love to cook. I also work part-time as an RN so quick/nutritious meals appeal to us on those busy weeknights when the family is on the go.
My favorite things to cook
Thai, Indian Curries, Soups & stews when the seasons right. Grilling ....of course.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't really have many cooking traditions with the exception of maybe Holiday Fare.

Food poisoning free for several years...knock on wood!!

Pecan Pie IV
WAY too easy to make. This recipe is why pie crusts come in 2-packs. It's a good thing pecans are expensive or this dessert might be too much of a staple.

Kung Pao Chicken
I make this all the time. Really a great/easy recipe that my wife and I love. Sometimes I substitute cashews for the peanuts but otherwise it's great as is.
