Wife, Step-Mom, Step Grandma. Animal lover--but not a fanatic. Supporter of Alzheimer's research in hopes that in the future nobody will have to go through the tragedy of losing their loved ones memory by memory like my family has been doing for 15 long years with my mother(my heart).
My favorite things to cook
Anything that comes out of my garden. Squash, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, cabbage. You name it, I've grown it. Food always tastes best when you've grown it yourself.
My cooking triumphs
My family has always been proud (or frustrated) by the way I can sneak zucchini into everything I make.
My cooking tragedies
A salmon loaf so horrific that I will never eat salmon again. And I will never live down my first attempt at making spring mac pasta in a tomato meat sauce. after watching my brother crunch into the pasta I realized that I should have cooked it first.
