Molasses Sugar Cookies
These are the BEST cookies of this kind I have ever made! My husband doesn't usually like molasses or gingerbread type of cookies/cakes, but he loved these! The recipe didn't state whether to use dark or light molasses, so I opted for the light. They were fabulous! They stayed moist & chewy for over a week in an air-tight container. Not one went to waste...trust me! Next time I will take a bunch to church to give away so I won't eat so many! I followed the recipe as written & they were awesome. Be sure not to over bake them. Eight mins. was perfect when I left them on the cookie sheet for 1-2 min. after taking them out of the oven. This is a keeper! YUMMY!!!!
