I love to cook for other people. Cooking relaxes me and at the same time, when I finish a recipe, I feel like I have accomplished something for the day. Although I don't eat desserts, I love baking. I love cooking for the sole purpose of seeing my family and friends enjoy what I have made. I come from a family of big eaters so there are always elaborate comfort dishes at our get togethers, plus there is enough to feed a small army. I found a recipe on this site for chocolate chip and walnut cookies. I modified the recipe a bit and get several requests for them throughout the year. I always get a couple marriage proposals whenever I make them. I made this broccoli and chicken casserole, but it came out soupy and tasting like biscuts and white gravy, it was terrible.
