About this Cook
I am a super busy redheaded Momma of 3 busy redheaded children. I adore my husband and children.. my family is very important to me!
My favorite things to cook
Recipes I've learned from dear family and friends.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have many wonderful memories of cooking in the kitchen with my own mother from a very young age. I am trying to pass that down to my own children... cooking special treats with them on holidays and other occassions.
My cooking triumphs
My ranch potato salad, Gail's Mean Frozen Burritos, cheesecake, homemade bread, cakes, pies, buttermilk cornbread (that my husband even told his own mother that I make mine as good as hers if not better.)
My cooking tragedies
Dropping the bottom of a spring form pan filled with cheesecake onto the crack of the hot oven door.

Swedish Spritzs
Can you give NO stars? Seriously... they melted over the cookie sheet like pancake batter. NEEDS more FLOUR.. your guess is as good as mine.

German Potato Salad
This is a wonderful recipe! My tips: I omit the flour(I've never used it) I cut up the bacon with scissors and microwave it as a mess saver. I combine vinegar & sugar then add bacon dripping to chill them down before I whisk in the egg. Bring to a boil and this FANASTIC!

Tater Tot Casserole I
This is excellent! I added a couple more eggs as others had suggested. I also sometimes sub. diced ham. My 3 kids and hubby love this dish! Makes for an easy dinner too.
