Where has this recipe been all my life?! What a great spin on what to do with fruit! I followed this recipe EXACTLY and couldn't get enough. The chips were fantastic too - and made the whole house smell awesome!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Totally rave reviews from my crowd! They couldn't stop eating it. I did use a 4oz can of jalopeno peppers and mixed the panko crumbs with shredded cheddar cheese. Then just popped it in the oven at 375 for about 25 minutes. Super easy!

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
Definite keeper! I added a couple extra things though. I added refried beans, green chilis and salsa to the meat mixture and added another taco seasoning packet to the sour cream. I too made this low fat. I used reduced fat crescent rolls, ground turkey, fat free sour cream and fat free shredded cheddar cheese (and it melted!). Next time I'll even use baked tortilla chips. Absolutely delicious!

Kielbasa and Cabbage

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2009
I'm giving this 4 stars because it really was a good recipe, me and my hubby just didn't like the taste of the caraway seeds too much. The recipe was easy and a great weeknight meal. I will probably try it again but leave out the caraway seeds.

I had a bunch of tomatoes given to me and this was the perfect recipe to use them up. I didn't add the sun dried and hubby really liked it. Thanks!

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2009
These were totally awesome! I did add tons more cheese and used 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup mixed each with a can of skim milk though. And I cooked my ham seperately. I put them on low and went to work....came home about 9 hours later and some cheese had burnt to the sides of the crockpot but I LOVE that taste. Next time I will put a timer on for about 7 hours tops! I didn't have the liquid problem other reviews did either. The soup turned the potatoes a carmel color, but they tasted phenomenal! I will definitely be making these REAL soon.

Marinade for Steak I

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2009
This was the perfect marinade for my family. I followed it exactly and left my Texas Broil marinating all day when I was at work. THe steak was tendar and FULL of flavor. Not overpowering, just enough. We also grilled the onion slices in the marinade, very good!

Tex-Mex Patty Melts

Reviewed: May 8, 2009
These tasted great! I used ground turkey and green chili peppers since I could not find the chipolte peppers anywhere. I doubled the meat to 2lbs, using a whole packet of chili seasoning and half of the little can of green chili peppers. The meat looked a bit dry so I added about 2 tablespoons of ketchup too. I made the sauce witht he other half of the can of peppers and the 1/4 cup reduced fat mayo. I was short on time so I just put the bread in the toaster, spread the sauce on each piece once toasted and put the burger with pepperjack cheese aleady melted on it from the grill - topped with a ton of grilled onions....DELICIOUS!

Sesame Beef

This was delicious! I mixed in some frozen broccoli and mushrooms, and doubled the sauce. my sliced round steak was only marinating for about an hour and it turned out really tender (to my surprise!). I served it with Brazilian White Rice from this website - next time I think I'll try egg noodles.

BBQ Chicken Calzones

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2009
Pretty good recipe here! Very easy to make and has GREAT flavor. I used turkey bacon (about 6 slices) and fat free shredded cheddar cheese and Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce. I will probably add some garlic powder to the dough next time for some extra flavor though.

These turned out pretty awesome! It cured my search for 'something different' to do with a potato. I've never used tumeric before and was pleasantly surprised with the taste it gave the potatoes. (Beware though, it turns a bright yellow color and stained my fingernail.) There's definitely heat to these too!

Lasagna Toss

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
Perfect for a week night meal! I made it with Honeysuckle Turkey Italian Sausage, fat free cottage cheese and fat free shredded mozarella - omitting the top layer of cheese since the fat free doesn't melt very good. I followed the recipe exactly, with my noted less fat/calorie substitutions. This was just so darn good! My 7 year old daughter even had seconds - YAY!

Campbell's® Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
Boy, I almost messed this one up! I didn't catch in the ingredient list that the green beans needed to be COOKED and I mixed this up with them being raw and popped it in the oven. After the 25 minutes I had my hubby try a bite (I'm NOT a green bean person at all!) and he mentioned it needed more cooking time. THat's when I re-read the recipe and saw it called for cooked green beans - YIKES! I ended up cooking this dish in the oven for about 60 minutes, stiring it every 15 minutes or so. The end result - everyone at Easter dinner liked it! Shwew!

Um, umm, ummm! The peanut butter filling is SO creamy and awesome tasting! I followed this recipe exactly and got about 2 1/2 dozen little eggs out of it. Perfect, easy recipe for this non-baker mom.

Everything tasted great, except for the broccoli. I was trying to introduce broccoli to my palate (once again) but this still hasn't convinced me.....although the sauce had a great taste! I will try it over other vegetables, thanks.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
This was good, but not really great. The seasonings didn't seem to stick to the meat like I'd hoped. I even tried pouring some of the juices on top of the meat but that made for a soggy haogie bun.
