About this Cook
I'm a mother and wife, I like preparing meals for my family rather than constantly eating out. I also like trying a new dish at least once a week. I try to plan weekly menus but haven't perfected it just yet.
My favorite things to cook
Banana pudding, cakes, chocolate chip cookies & spaghetti
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving
My cooking triumphs
I finally mastered macaroni and cheese!! Yum, yum, it took me two years to perfect it but I didn't give up and my dedication paid off.
My cooking tragedies
Dressing, no matter which recipe I try- it always comes out a disaster. Any suggestions are welcomed. HELP!

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak
As if this one needs another review... it was wonderfu! Quick, easy and delicious. The only thing I did different was to also add a little pepper to the meat and seasoned the meat during the browning stage- gave the meat more flavor.

Oreo(TM) Cookie Cake
This recipe came out good, I too cut the cream cheese in half. I'm glad I did, I think the amount of cream cheese called for in the recipe would have been too much! My children loved it and the adults like it too. It's the perfect summer/spring dessert. And, it's very easy to make.
