About this Cook
I'm a radiographer and have a 2 year old son, and wonderful husband. We love this part of the country. I don't cook as much now as I used to, I guess I just have more demands on my time, but I still really enjoy it.
My favorite things to cook
I like to try to cook new ethnic foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Umm, family tradition is probably more eating, than cooking.
My cooking triumphs
I once made an entirely Polish Thanksgiving from recipes I found in a cookbook put together by Polish immigrants in the 40's. It was delicious.
My cooking tragedies
Numerous, probably my jack o lantern cake was the saddest, pecan pie-should have known a northern girl coudn't make pecan pie, it wouldn't set.

No Bake Cookies III
I had been wanting these for a while- I remember my mother making them when I was a kid. They were just as I remembered. I love them.

Bird's Nests III
I just made these with my 3 yr old son. He did the measuring- so nothing exact!! It took 16 minutes start to finish- I melted the butter and marshmallows in the microwave. We put Cadbury chocolate pastel eggs inside. They taste great-are soooo easy, my son feels accomplished...doesn't get any better.
