About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy baking, especially desserts. So far, I can say that I have mastered creme brulee and chiffon cake.
My cooking tragedies
Thanksgiving turkey disaster. Undercooked at first, then overcooked, and with me in tears at the end of the day.

A to Z Everything-but-the-Kitchen-Sink Chocolate Chip Cookies
I halved the recipe and only baked half of that (the rest I froze into a log shape). They turned out great! Didn't add mace, didn't substitute anything for it. Substituted heavy cream because I didn't have any milk on hand.

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa
Followed the recipe exactly, it tasted light, fresh, and healthy! The jalapeno we used wasn't very spicy, so next time, we'll try 2. Also, I will add another mango to the recipe next time. Thanks!

Korean Spicy Chicken and Potato (Tak Toritang)
I used boneless chicken thigh pieces and it turned out very tender. I used a mix of chicken stock and water to cook the chicken for a bit in the beginning. The chicken was very moist and flavorful. At the end, added a handful of chopped green onions. Thanks for the recipe!
