About this Cook
Hello I'm 26, getting ready to have my first baby! I'm getting married to a wonderful man next year. I love cooking for him and his two great children as often as I can.
My favorite things to cook
All types of soup! My family loves beef so I tend to cook a lot of that. I enjoy cooking mostly meals but sometimes I try sweets.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I learned a ton from my mom and grandma. Lots of soups and hearty meals that get better with time and practice.

Apple Crumb Pie
Oh my gosh!! What a wonderful pie. This was the first apple pie I've ever made and boy was it a hit! I used a homemade pie crust, you can find it here under easy pie crust. I highly recommend it. It makes enough for the crumble on top which I added brown and white sugars, cinnamon and pecans. Everyone raved about the pie and I will make over and over again!

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II
I made this into bars for the simplicity and boy was it a good idea. Everyone loved them and wanted the recipe.

Bruschetta al Pomodoro
Very very good! I added a bit of shredded parm to the bread when I toasted the last side. I too did not warm the tomatoes it was so good room temp. I'm going to make this again this weekend and I know it'll be a hit. I think I may add fresh mozzarella this time. Thank you Ada!
