This is a great recipe. A few things that helped me--before frying the falafel, coat each side in bread crumbs. Also, if you are having trouble getting them to stay together, try using a microplane (or a cheese grater with tiny little holes!) to grate the onion. This adds moistness while still keeping the flavor, and seemed to hold together fine in the pan! Great recipe.

These were just OK--a little mushy. I followed the recipe as written, subbing brown sugar for white. My husband seemed to like them, but i found them slightly disappointing.

I added a layer of Guava paste above the cream cheese, and my husband declared these were his favorite dessert of all time! I didn't think 1 cup of sugar was necessary, 1/2 c tasted sweet enough. Also, i skipped the excess butter and just sprinkled sugar/cinnamon on top! DELISH!!
