About this Cook
My husband and I own our own business and I have two teenage kids, so I'm pretty busy. I love to get up early and run and work out with my friends. I grew up on a farm and was very active in my child hood.
My favorite things to cook
I love to do stir fry and to try new recipes. I also love to make soup in the winter.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family LOVES breakfast food-so I make pancakes and waffles alot, and try to find ways to make them healthier.
My cooking triumphs
Any time I make something new for my family and they like it!
My cooking tragedies
Too many too mention...I tend to multi task while I cook, so I'll leave ingredients out or add to much of something. Like the time I used my bread maker and forgot to add water-I got burnt flour!

Mini Pumpkin Muffins with Orange Drizzle
FOr a bit more healthy version I used 1/2 whole wheat flour and I used 1/2 cup of applesauce and 1/4 Cup of oil..love them!

Pumpkin Chocolate Dessert Cake
Awesome!-but you could 1/2 the icing- it's way too much. I also poked holes in the cake to let it soak into the cake.

Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes with Ricotta Cheese
I made this for Thanksgiving-everyone loved it! I've never been a big fan of the marshmallow sweet potato recipe-this was great b/c it wasn't so sweet.
