Fiber One® Chocolate-Peanut Butter Haystacks

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
A fast delicious treat with only three ingredients and no need to heat the oven....gotta' love that! Only one bowl and whatever you you use to measure the peanut butter to wash. My family enjoyed them; it was a great way to serve them some fiber. I used my cookie scoop coated with spray oil to measure out and shape the haystacks. I would make these again, especially if I need something quick. The only real down side to me is the aspartame. I'm not a huge fan of artificial sweeteners.

Slow Cooker Latin Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2012
I used frozen chicken tenderloins since they were on sale BOGO and added corn as some other reviewers suggested. I also added a 1/2 cup extra of broth as others were commenting on not enough liquid. I ended up with too much...maybe because I put the chicken in frozen? If I make this again I will not add extra. I will wait until the closer to the end to add the cilantro or at least part of it so it is not so soggy and has a bit more intense flavor. I put this in the slow cooker for about 4 hours on high. All in all it tasted good and looked great...wasn't a family favorite though.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
Awesome! Will definitely make again. My hubby said it was the best sausage sub he's ever had and the recipe is a keeper. Did follow others advice about cooking the sausage some before starting it in the slow cooker to avoid all the grease and added cheese. The meat was tender and the flavors were well infused.

Slow Cooker Ginger Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2012
May or may not make this again. Added some minced garlic for taste and some shaved carrot for a bit of color contrast. I didn't put the ramen noodles in until a couple minutes before serving after I added the corn starch and soy sauce for the 5 minutes. Still seemed to lack something : /

Fast Beef and Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2012
Great base recipe. I like color to my food, so added mixed vegetables along with a little Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, pepper, and about 1/4 cup salsa. I doubled the recipe because I have a growing teenage boy who loves to eat, and my husband likes to take leftovers to work for "lunch". Served with biscuits and chunky applesauce.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
The first time I made this I had never made chicken & dumplings before and was looking for something to take to our care group dinner at church. It was a hit and everyone requested the recipe! A few weeks ago I made it for a band that was playing a concert for our church youth group; as they were hoping not to have take out pizza again. They actually had me come over to the church so they could thank me personally and rave how delicious it was. And yesterday I made it for my family and there was none left for my husband to take for lunch as he was hoping. I read several of the reviews before making it and found them helpful. I use broth instead of just water, add poultry seasoning, garlic powder, & black pepper, wait to break up chicken just before adding the biscuit dough and add the biscuit dough at least an hour before we eat. How much biscuit dough to add will probably differ per person. It's a wonderful and easy recipe. Thank you for sharing!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

These were great! The whole family enjoyed them...even my picky 12-year-old. I did add cilantro as suggested by another reviewer since I absolutely love it. Great as is and fantastic if you dress it up just the way you like it.

Hamburger Gravy

added the onion soup mix and worcestershire sauce that others suggested and did some of my own seasoning...great taste, but way too runny. Will try again using less milk.
