Wow!! What a good pie! I thought a pear pie would be too bland, but this recipe has lots of flavor and the crunchy topping adds even more. Might be too sweet for some, but I liked it and so did my husband.

Fresh Pear Bread

I had an abundance of pears that needed to be used. I was glad to find this recipe....and it turned out moist and yummy. I found that I liked it better if the pears were diced into small pieces. I ended up making 3 double batches and froze them. It'll be nice to have them in the winter!
