This is a wonderful, easy pie! I followed recipe exactly. Nice, tart, lime flavor. It's creamy & especially good the next day. I have no need to search further. Thanks for sharing, Carolyn.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2009
I loved this recipe AS IS! Next time I would add additional mushrooms cuz we like them. I do not think it needs any bouillon or additional salt. The gravy is thick enuf once the cream cheese is added. The house smelled yummy when I came home from work! Thanks Jessica!

Salmon Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
I had unexpected company & they rated this recipe 5 stars. I rated it a 4 b/c it was a bit dry for my taste. The seasoning is very good. Love the veggies. I would add less macaroni next time or increase the liquid. The vinegar likely cuts the fishy taste to the canned salmon, so I would not omit. A good way to add salmon to one's diet! Thx Pixie.

Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
This was a hit in my house! I generally follow the recipe as is (unless out of an ingredient)& recommend considerations for future cooks. As is, the recipe is excellent! However that said, I did decrease cooking time to 45 min & reduced temp to 350 @ the end cuz it looked like it was cooking to fast in my gas oven. I'll likely use frozen (thawed) hash browns in future cuz they're firmer & will consider letting them brown a bit in the oven (mixed w/ butter) to add a little crunch. Thanks William!

Ten Minute Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
This is great enchilada sauce. Easy, very tasty. I'll never buy sauce again. I think as others have suggested, the amt. of chili powder you use depends on the type. I used only 2 TBSP. med/hot chili powder from PENZEYS SPICES (My favorite & no, I don't work fr them)& it was nice & spicy. A 1/4 c. would have way too much. Thanks Brandi!

Linguine with Clam Sauce and Baby Portobello Mushrooms

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
I LOVE this recipe. Better than what I've had in restaurants. Followed advise of another & reduced bouillon to 2 (cuz I'm not crazy about salty stuff). Next time might add a clove or 2 more garlic. This is a great recipe. Wonderful the next day. Thanks a bunch!

Microwave Lemon Curd

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
Excellent lemon curd! I was skeptical b/c I've always cooked lemon curd (stove vs. microwaving). Mine was very smooth, no egg bits noted. Cooked it ~4.5 min wisking well well after every min as instructed. Used fresh juice from my tree & was great! Thanks for sharing.

Orange Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
Very tasty. Thanx Beki! Like others, I mixed turkey w/ sauce vs layering. Added an entire jar of spaghetti sauce to meat. Next time, I'll cut down the sour cream & cream cheese by a few oz. each as it was a bit rich for me. But, very delicious! Also seasoned up the meat alot w/ Italian spices. pepper, onions & garlic. A big hit w/ family.

Strawberry Lassi

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2008
I LOVED this recipe. Since I am a huge yogurt fan (love the tartness of yogurt), I'd cut the sugar to 1 TBSP. But, that is totally personal peference, understanding many aren't crazy about tart drinks like me. Thanks for sharing Radhika. A keeper for me!

DeeAnn's Cheesy Bacon Cabbage

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
DELICIOUS!! My new, favorite way to have cabbage. Thanks so much DeeAnn! Like Sully, I sauteed onions in a little oil after the bacon. Added ~ 1 TBSP H2O & covered x ~ 5 min to steam the cabbage along. Then I added some butter, & the salt & pepper. All I had was Parmesean & Asiago cheese(s) @ home, so I topped w/ a mixture of those. Then, turned off the heat, covered the pan & let the cheeses melt. This is so very yummy!

Blueberry Flax Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2008
These are terrific! I made them just like the recipe & they turned out great. I don't feel so guilty now eating pancakes! Another little tip to help eliminate the guilt factor too is to put the syrup on your plate & dip the pancakes into it vs pouring over. You'll use much less syrup that way ;-) Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Spicy Chipotle Turkey Burgers

Yummy!! Your die-hard beef eaters will not complain! I added ~ 1/4 green pepper which gave a little chrunch. I sprayed the burgers (& grill) w/oil since the turkey had so little fat. Delicious! Thanks for sharing mbaucum!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

I have banana trees so have made alot of banana bread! This is a very moist bread w/ a good banana taste. I added some fresh nutmeg. It makes alot; filled up my K.A. mixer bowl. Had to cover to prevent too much browning towards end. It's a keeper!

Delicious! The oatmeal adds a nice texture. I added nutmeg & cinnamon like other reviewers. This is definately a keeper. Moist, sweet & different than other banana bread recipes & I've tried many!
