I am from the mid-west. Moved to Florida in 1993, My husband and myself got a little too tired of the long, cold winters. I come from a very large family. I am one of eight. Learned to cook at a very young age. Cleaning up the kitchen for ten people is work! I am one of five sisters. My loving brothers on occasion helped in the kitchen. I must admit they are all good cooks. My ethnic background is Polish, Slovak and Hungarian. We made all the traditional foods. Holidays are a real treat! We still carry on the family traditions. I have a full time job. So when I have time.... Pot Roast, Golabki (stuffed cabbage),Chicken Paprikash, Pierogi, stuffed peppers. I love soups, stews, chili etc. All the holidays are special.
