About this Cook
Enthusiastically educated, extensively-traveled humanitarian, feminist, and bibliophile. I like sewing/knitting, playing music, hiking, canoing/kayaking, and volunteer work with NGOs. Raving liberal. I can't help it. I just think the government should help people rather than... whatever it is it's doing now. I love you and your rights, unless you hate mine. I live in an area that seems to love processed Wal-food and mind-numbing McTelevision.
My cooking triumphs
I make a killer fondue. Also, my hummus is the best most anyone I've shared it with has tasted (I'm not lying! This is the feedback I get!). However, I sadly cannot relay the recipe. It's all in my head in uncalculated amounts.

Spelt Biscuits
These were delicious! They disappeared quite quickly. As per the advice of previous reviewers, I too halved the salt. Also, I only needed about 1/2 cup of [whole] milk rather than 2/3. Next time, I'm going to have to make a couple dozen.
