I little bit confusing... Mother's Family = all Italians . Father's Family = all Portugueses. Husband and Husband's Family = all from Spain. I was born in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) , putting all of this together = ;0) /// I'M OVER WEIGHT! /// LOL!

In all of these Countrys everything it is motive to celebrate, from DEATH TO BIRDH. So put it together all traditions in The World that follows our Catholic Religion , we are on and we are there!

All family members and friends use to say it : "Katia is a very, very good cook!" ... and ... I believe it! ;0) Why Not???
My cooking tragedies
I was making a "FEIJOADA" ( black beans with meats (all kind) and I salted so I called my mother and told her what I had done and she said :"Get three big potatoes, peel it and cooked it with all meats and beans, when the potatoes where done , take out and believe it, so I did do it and believe it... When my husband got it home with my inlaws ..."The FEIJOADA"... was PERFECT!!!
