I am a mother of 2.my kids are the best food tester in the kitchen.my husband is very picky eater.everyday is a daunting task trying to find him a new recipes for chicken n beef.whereas my kids are wonderful.they are just happy if i have 3 main dishes on the table everyday especially dinner.it makes me happy to see a HAPPY FACE on their plates.

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots
I USED A 1N HALF LBS TENDERLOINS.DID AS DIRECTED BUT COVER LOOSELY AS NOT TO DRY THE BEEF.SHOULD ROAST AT 375 45MINS.USED 1 CAN BROTH N HALF CUP RED WINE-REDUCED TO HALF.SET ASIDE.MELT BUTTER ADD BACON.COOK N SET ASIDE COOKED BACON.SAME PAN I COOK BEEF ABOUT 5-7MINS.PUT BEEF IN OVEN.PULSED ROASTED SHALLOTS.AGAIN IN SAME PAN A BIT MORE BUTTER ADD 21TBSP FLOUR TO MAKE ROUX ADD BROTH MIXTURE/BLENDED ROASTED SHALLOTS N CHOPPED BACON.POUR SAUCE OVER BEEF.VERY GOOD RECIPE.WILL MAKE IT AGAIN

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
no doubt the best.tried many times.next time i will use 1/4 of mushrm soup n beef broth 1/2 can.added celery n chunks of onions/2 cloves of garlic i smashed n add carrot in the last 30mins.i need to use not mini carrots [optional]used 31/2 lbs of beef roast for 1a2kids dinner n 2kids for lunch next day.oh yeah seared the beef with butter then put in to crock pot 8hrs LOW.AWESOME

Apple Breakfast Bread
i have never try apple bread before n wasn't sure about making them.since i have lots of apples n do not like to see it end in the garbage,i make some last night.it was very good.but i added more apples n grated them.also as per other reviews,i used half brown n half white sugar,added ground ginger n cinnamon.will stay in my family favorite recipe.thank you
