I am a newly wed who just moved from small town Arkansas to big city Washington. Pasta, breads, anything in a crock pot. I come from a large family of large eaters and we love to have get togethers where all of the women gather in the kitchen to prepare three times as much food as we need and catch up. I once made the most wonderful date-dinner including whiskey-maple pork tenderloin medallions, beer bread, and grilled asparagus. Now that I look back on that night, I should have ordered pizza and ditched the date. I cannot make gravy! I have tried and tried but fail miserably every time. My husbands favorite food is biscuits and gravy.
