Sangria! Sangria!
I had never made Sangria before...but always wanted to. I stumbled upon this recipe in the Summer of 2008. I make it with my sister (it's our new backyard BBQ ritual) and we vary it each time. Our guest feel that our Summer gatherings are just not complete without this EXCELLENT beverage.

Grandma Johnson's Scones
I had never, in my life baked scones. However, my husband and I recently took a liking to going out for Afternoon Tea on Sundays. I found this recipe, read the many RAVE reviews and decided to try it. The recipe is EXTREMELY SIMPLE and has gone over so well with my friends and family that I have to make the dough, freeze it and distribute it out to the various households. We absolutely LOVE this recipe. I always use two eggs, rather than one. It "fluffs-up" the scones just a tad. If you have not tried these, you really should.
