I am retired with two married children and two grandchildren. I love walking with my husband and Jack Russell terrier. Also eating out and holidays abroad and at home. Am an avid reader of Robert Goddard and crime thrillers in general. I am always on the lookout for recipes suitable for diabetics with low fat and sugar as I control my diabetes with diet alone. I love baking and cooking different things, no particular preference just whatever looks good to me! I always cook for the family at Xmas and have a summer party for friends and family. My cooking triumph my son-in-law tells me is my Baked Blackcurrant Cheesecake.My grandson says that my Syrup Sponge is the best in the world but then he loves me!! I've had many of those over the years but hey none of us are perfect!!
