I am a 50 year old (51 in 4 days...08/08/08)widow. I have 6 children and 8 grandchildren. I have one child left at home (a teenager...yikes!). I am a full time student with 2 semesters left for my BAS in Health Administration. I tutor part-time at the college while I am in school.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook desserts. I am also a fan of soups and stews that are relatively simple but hearty. I also like cooking dishes that contain potatoes.

Sloppy Joes II
I have used this recipe for years and I love it! I am glad to see someone else uses brown sugar. My kids used to tease me that I was the only one who did that! Sure beats Manwich!

Green Pea Salad With Cheese
I have used this recipe for years but I always add pasta to it for a combo pasta/pea salad. It's very good!
