I am new to the stay at home mom scene - is that really a "scene?" I have an 11 year old and a newborn. As a result we are eating many more meals at home. I like dinners that are easy and quick, but have good textures and flavors. I love to bake!!! I am venturing into candies right now, but historically that has been a fiasco, at best! My mom's roast beef on Sundays and my Grandmothers sourdough/starter breads. Definetly my lasagne and my Italian Creme cake. Well, I once made fudge and REALLY over cooked it. I had to soak the pan for 2 days to get the chocolate lump to dissolve!!!
