Chocolate Spiders

These were easy to make but they are messy. If you're serving to kids keep this in mind. I don't think I'll make them again because of the messiness.

Lemon Cake with Lemon Filling and Lemon Butter Frosting

The lemon filling is very powerful. Although it was very good. I don't like when my lemon recipes only have a hint of lemon. This definitely wasn't a hint. It was a nice zing to the cake, complimented it very well.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

I thought these muffins were great! I would add more cinnamon and more pumpkin mix the next time I make them. I also made half chocolate chip and half plain. I enjoyed it just plain.

Strawberry Syrup

I made this syrup with raspberries instead of the strawberries. It turned out very good. I also only added half the sugar. I put them over whole wheat pancakes and thought it was sweet enough.

Brownie Bottom Pudding Pie

I would give this an extra half star if there were halves. I made this for a family gathering and most people gave this recipe a 1. We all would have prefered just regular brownies with ice cream. The brownies with pudding took up the whole pan there was no more room for the cool whip. The brownies ended up soaking up some of the moisture from the pudding so they ended up really mushy.

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

I have made this crust twice now. The first time it turned out ok but the second time it turned out a lot better. Very flaky and moist. I made it in my food processor which was fast and easy.

White Chocolate Cake

I was intimidated by this recipe. I finally broke down and made it, it was great. I really enjoyed the Chili's white chocolate molten cake so I attempted to make that. I put some batter in a texas pie pan baked them, removed the middle, froze them, added some melted white chocolate to the middle, flipped them onto the serving plate, microwaved them until they were warm. I drizzled the frosting overtop and then added some fresh raspberries. it was very good and very sweet.

Zucchini Brownies

I put my zucchini's in the food processor to chop them up then added them to the recipe that way my husband didn't realize they had something good in there for him.

Spinach Alfredo Pizza

I loved this recipe. I made it with fresh spinach. I made this on my grill! It turned out great. I made individual pizza's. My husband doesn't like mushrooms or olives so I left those off his.
