Hello, my name is Edna Davis...
I live in California. I have two little boys, and I love to cook for them.
My favorite thing to do besides studying the Word of God is cooking.
I am the cook for my entire family (which is very large). If there is a family meeting or any type of gathering, I'm the one they call. I also cook for the homeless people and Church functions. I enjoy cooking and I thank God that he has blessed me to do so.
My favorite things to cook
Studying the Word of God is very important to me, it helps me to maintain balance and structure in my life and my children lives.
Jesus is very important to me. He comes first in my life, children and then cooking. I thank God that I can spend a great deal of time cooking,
it gives me an opportunity to come up with more cooking technique and recipes. Practice does make perfect
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family cooking tradition is "come let us break bread together". I love family and friend gatherings and reunions. They reflect on the love that we have for one another. We don't really share our recipes, but they do ask me how to make certain dishes, most of the time they ask me to prepare the meal instead.
My cooking triumphs
I started cooking when I was about 10 years old, I made a lot of mistakes, but after I developed the skills of cooking, and after so many years of practicing with patience, and disappointments. I believe that I finally mastered it.
My cooking tragedies
The tragedies of it all is that I burned a lot of food. No regrets though.
