My husband and I
About this Cook
I am a SAHM of 3, a stepson that is 9, a daughter that is 2 almsot 3 and a baby boy that just turned 4 months old :) and I love my life.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make new things, try out new recipes, or try to tweak the recipes that don't get all that great reviews and make them better. I also like to make homemade candy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I try to make my own traditions but on holiday's I try and stick to what I remember my Grandma making for the holiday's, because she always made them so special and filled with warmth and joy, and I would like to pass down those memories to my children.
My cooking triumphs
I never had touched a pan before I turned 18, my mom would always cook for me, but when i moved out at 18 I had my own place and 2 jobs, so I would stick to fast food, then when I met my husband we got married after only a year of dating, and he didn't like the "always eating out" moto. So I was kinda forced into learning how to cook, but I have gotten better everyday it's been almost 4 years and I have some things that everyone loves and some things that no one will touch lol:)
My cooking tragedies
Just try and cook when the kids are occupied with other things so they don't bombard me in the kitchen.

Chicken Pot Pie III
My whole family loves loves loves this recipe! I make it about 2x a month and when they hear that's what were having for dinner they get very excited. I keep to the recipe, but this is one of those recipes that you could probably add anything to it and it would still be great.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I
I followed this recipe exactly, I made it for Christmas eve dinner since it was cold and everyone wanted something to warm their bones. Next time I will Definitely add a bit more water and spice, but over all everyone loved it.

Easy Chicken Enchiladas
These were so yummy, a little too much Cream cheese though, I read other reviews before making these and put a half a can of green sauce on the bottom and half on top then the cheese, and didn't use 2 cups of cheese, I only used one, and they were a smash hit at dinner time, even my husband loved them, and he is Spanish and swore til I made these that his mother made the best enchiladas, now I guess i am giving her a run for her money.THANKS!
