I GREW UP WITHOUT LOTS OF MONEY SO WE ATE ALOT OF HAMBURGER GRAVY ON TOAST AND LUNCHMEAT... I HATE LUNCHMEAT BUT GRAVY AND TOAST IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE DINNERS, AND IT'S EVEN BETTER WHEN MY MOM MAKES IT.
My cooking triumphs
I MADE FLAN FOR THE FIRST TIME, AND I WASN'T REALLY SURE IT WOULD COME OUT VERY GOOD, BUT IT WAS PERFECT. AND SINCE MY HUSBAND IS FROM MEXICO, I REALLY MADE IT FOR HIM, AND HE LOVED IT!
My cooking tragedies
I MADE A HAMBURGER WHEN I WAS YOUNG, AND IT WAS FOR A BOYFRIEND. I WAS REALLY TRYING TO IMPRESS HIM, BUT I TURNED THE FLAME ON HIGH, SMOKED UP THE KITCHEN, SET THE FIRE ALARM OFF, AND CHARRED THE MEAT. BUT THE WORST PART WAS WHEN HE BIT INTO IT (HE WAS A BRAVE YOUNG MAN, TRYING NOT TO HURT MY FEELINGS) IT WAS BL0ODY AND RAW. BUT YET, IT STILL HAD A BURNT CRUST. THAT WAS THE WORST.
