About this Cook
I'm a mother of two children age 9 and 4. I started cooking when I was 12 years old.I learn to cook from both of my parents.I also learn a lot from my mother-in-law and relatives.
My favorite things to cook
I love malay, indonesian, indian, chinese and thai food.I love to try new recipes especially during the holiday season.Asian food are easy to prepare and fast to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We usually cook our favourites during the Eid Mubarak Holidays. We have ketupat ( rice cooked in palm leaves)and rendang (beef and gravy.We also have satay with peanut sauce.
My cooking triumphs
I think this is when I cooked for 40 people during my sister in law engagement party. I cooked my dad's delicious Nasi Beriyani.
My cooking tragedies
Maybe when I was 12. I put too much onion in the soup. Yuk!:p

Pizza Dough II
The dough was superb!!..I made double batch....my hubby and kids loved it!! I have 5 more pizza crust in the fridge...planning to bring hawaaian chicken pizza to school tomorrow!! Yumm!

Dark Chocolate Cake I
Since I'm using a springform pan...I reduced the boiling water to 1 cup. I didn't used butter but replaced it with oil instead. I add a tbsp of coffee essense..you may used coffee granules by mixing it with the hot water.The cake taste amazing....I really like it..thanx Carol!!
