Sugar Coated Pecans

Incredible!! I did go with the suggestions. I used 2 egg whites, 2 tsp. of water and 1 tsp. of vanilla. I added the peacans to the frothy egg whites, water and vanilla and then just folded in the sugar, salt and cinn. They turned out so good I have plans to make them as gifts for the holidays. Thanks for the recipe!!

Roast Chicken with Rosemary

I stuffed the bird with half of a lemon, onion and rosemary. Rubbed the outside it with Olive Oil and seasoned it inside and out with salt, white pepper, garlic, and rubbed skin with the fresh chopped Rosemary. I cooked it as directed and it came out beautifully. The whole house smelled wonderful. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. I will make this again and again.

Orange Glazed Carrots

These turned out great due to a combination of suggestions and the original recipe. I simmered the carrots and made the sauce in a different pans and added 2 tsp. of cornstarch before bringing the sauce to a boil and then poured it over the drained carrots. It was excellent.

Sugar Snap Peas with Mint

This was very yummy. Next time I will put the garlic and green onions in right before removing them from the heat in order to get the snap peas done with out over cooking the green onions and garlic. Wonderful combination of flavors I would have never have thought to put together. Thanks.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This was sooooo good. I didn't have the onion soup mix so I improvised on the seasonings a little, but otherwise followed the recipe as is and it turned out great. I will be making this one on a fairly regular basis since my family loved it as much as I did.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

I have always purchased the bottled cole slaw dressing and was always left underwhelmed, so I thought I'd try to make it from scratch. I can't believe that I have been paying $4 a bottle when I could have been making this recipe for a fraction of the price and be thrilled with the taste. I made it exactly as the recipe dictates and it was perfect! Just like what you would get in a restaurant.

Strawberry Lemon Muffins

This was a good muffin. More like a Bisquick type muffin than a cake like muffin, but quick and full of flavor. I am not a fan of whole wheat flour so I used all purpose instead. Worked great!! My family ate them up and asked for more!!

Clone of a Cinnabon

These are wonderful! I lost track of time and slightly overcooked them and they were still incredible! I made them exactly as the recipe instructed except I did double the frosting and didn't make it in the bread machine. I followed others instuctions and kneaded the dough by hand then doubled the volume in a warmed oven. The frosting was to die for!

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

These were great! My husband loves peanut butter so these were a perfect change for him. The flavors are just subtle enough to have people wondering what the ingredients are that make them so yummy. They are nice in place of your usual chocolate chip cookie which I make all of the time. I baked them for my daughters fourth grade class for first day of school and she said everyone in class said her Mom was the BEST baker ever! ;)
