Homemade Pancake Mix

These were delicious. I misread the directions though...I added all the eggs and the milk from both the plain and added ingredients. So next time I will just do one or the other:) Added vanilla suggested from another reviewer and it was fab.

Eggnog

This was fast even with my adjustments it only took 10 minutes! I have young kids so I changed the directions just a little....I cooked the milk, eggs, and vanilla until boiling and then removed from heat immediately and added the cream. Next, I whipped up the egg whites and folded in the sugar and nutmeg. I added the milk mixture to the egg whites and slowly stirred. I omitted the whiskey and we loved it!

Cake Mixes from Scratch and Variations

We made the chocolate version. We are grateful to another reviewer for the oil substitution. It makes a big difference..the cake was so fluffy! This was amazingly easy. I will never buy another cake mix again.
