About this Cook
I'm 57 years old and still a tomboy at heart. I've never really enjoyed cooking, but love football with the guys.
My favorite things to cook
Anything with Perogies or Gnocchi.
My cooking triumphs
When everyone asked for the recipe and also wanted me to serve my Enchiladas whenever they visited, I knew I'd hit my first triumph. I hit another one when I made my Sweet Potato Casserole and a friend who previously 'hated' sweet potatoes specifically asked me to not come to his picnics without it! That's a WOW factor to me.
My cooking tragedies
The time I tried my first turkey and did not realize they came with things stuffed inside. Surprise...!!!!

Pittsburgh Style Sandwich
Yep! That's the way to eat a sandwich in Pittsburgh. Mmmmm...homesick already. Don't change a thing or it's not from Pittsburgh.

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo
Great sandwich, but misnamed! 'Philly Cheesesteak' is very specific to it's ingredients not a blanket name for any sandwich with cheese on. Quite sacred to Philadelphians!
