I am currently a music ed student at Appalachian State University and served four years honorably in the United States Marine Corps. I work as a cook at a local pizza shop called Capone's. I enjoy cooking in my spare time and seem to have excelled in it.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy cooking spicy and Italian dishes. I can make my own sauces such as alfredo, pesto, or marinara. I enjoy experimenting in Tex-Mex and Cajun styles. I have a great veggie pasta dish in a mexican style which is tequilla -lime pasta with cilantro in the pasta itself. cooked and tossed in extra virgin olive oil and lime and topped with fresh pico de gallo and a soft white cheese such as monterey jack
My favorite family cooking traditions
The first thing I learned to cook on my own was southern biscuits. my siblings and I had to help cook a couple times a week as part of our chores and I really took to it.
My cooking triumphs
the pasta listed above and my Louisiana French bread. It's good!
My cooking tragedies
That's for me to know.
