About this Cook
I am a wife and mother. I love making clothes and purses and whatever else I can figure out on my own. Patterns are not an option. I do hair for fun. I work in a video store. I love music although I have no musical talent. My family is my life! They are amazing.
My favorite things to cook
I love making (and eating) brownies. My son (he's 2) can help me make them and it's a quick and easy treat. I also love making salsa, BBQ beef cups (a recipe I found here), and bean dip.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year my dad (although diabetic) makes Christmas candy that's to die for. We get to help and be the taste testers since he can't. Also every Christmas we have cheeseburgers and potato soup at my grandpa's. My in-laws make killer meatballs on Christmas eve. Delish!
My cooking triumphs
I don't believe that I've had any triumphant cooking experiences thus far.
My cooking tragedies
One thing I've learned from my many a tragedies make sure that you have Pizza Hut's phone number near by.

Thai Peanut Burgers
These burgers are delish! I did cook them on the BBQ so they fell apart a little but it didn't change the taste one bit. I also topped my burger with bean sprouts for more of a crunch. This is probably one of the best burgers I've had in ages!

Feta Cheese Mashed Potatoes
What a great twist on regular mashed potatoes! To give it more flavor I used garlic and herb feta instead. Next time I make them I plan on using the tomato and basil feta. It costs the same as the plain feta and adds a lot of zest to the dish.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III
This is the best cookie recipe of all time! I make them exactly according to the recipe except I use milk instead of the cream (just because that's what I have in the fridge). The cookies do expand a lot when baking and you have to remember you are going to sandwich them later so it is best to make them smaller. These are my husbands and my favorite and I would recommend them to anyone who likes peanut butter! Thank you for the recipe!
