I stay home and care for my 2-year-old son. I love cooking and baking for my friends and family, and I love experimenting with new recipes, and finding healthier ways of cooking old favorites. I love baking more than anything. I have such a sweet tooth, but I also want to maintain a healthy way, so I love trying new ways of making things sweet without adding (much) sugar. The first time I ever made anything for my husband's family was for Easter. I made a strawberry pretzel salad, which had jell-o in it. Well somehow in the fridge overnight, a leftover pork chop fell into it, and kept it from gelling at all! It was a disaster!
