Chicken Alfredo with Fettuccini Noodles

This was so gritty, I suppose from the ricotta cheese. My kids liked it, but my husband and I couldn't eat this again.

Cheddar Chicken Pie

This was wonderful. I did cook it in a 9x9 glass pan, because I thought it wouldn't fit in a pie plate. I had to cook it longer, but it was worth the extra time! I'll make this again.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Five stars! I did only use about 10 oz. of sauce and 1 cup of water instead of the full amount of sauce. I knew my family couldn't handle the spice. It came out great--everyone ate it, including my 1 year old!!! I just added extra sauce to mine when I put my sandwich together. Loved it!

The taste of these were great, and I will definitely make them again. However, I could not cut them with a fork, so we'll have to see if I can figure out how to get them more tender.

Train Cake

I made this for my son's 3rd birthday and it was a hit! The video was extremely helpful, but it became very clear that she used two cake mixes, not one as stated in the recipe. I'd strongly recommend using one cake for each loaf pan to make a taller train (like in the video) and it will feed more people of course.

Herald's Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

I have to give it 5 stars because my husband liked it so much. I used Jiffy corn muffin mix instead of the bisquick, but I would have liked it to seep down in the mixture a little more. The meat seemed to need a little extra kick. Next time I'll play around with the recipe some more.

These were great. I was afraid the batter was too thick, but it worked as is. I used whole wheat flour, smart balance margarine, and splenda to make it fit my diet. Very good!

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

This is my kind of recipe! SO easy and very good! I followed the recipe exactly this time (with the exception of taking off the lid for the second simmer and turning up the heat). However, we'll use a little less pepper next time and more onions. It's been a LONG time since having a pork chop this tender!

Baked Round Steak in Barbeque Sauce

So yummy. I'll definitely make this again. I won't cook it as long, because the pieces on the bottom were much more tender than the ones on top which got too dry. It was also very important to double the sauce. Very good!

Turkey Jambalaya

Also on South Beach, this was great! Kind of spicy for my husband, but he liked it. Omitting the rice makes it more of a yummy vegetable turkey soup. I'll definitely make this again!
