When I made a fancy surprise dinner for my mom's birthday. She really liked it, and she bragged to all her friends.
My cooking tragedies
I once used 2 whole bulbs of garlic in a dip instead of 2 cloves. I felt like an idiot, but it tasted pretty good.

Easy Key Lime Pie I
Never made key lime pie before, or tasted it. My dad loves it so we made it for Fathers' Day. It was a hit. :)

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips
Served this as dessert, not an appetizer or snack as stated in the description. My family and I all loved it, except for my picky little sister. I didn't have good raspberries, so I just left those out and used the same amounts of everything else. It ended up fine, though. The cinnamon chips were good too...nice and crispy.

Buttery Cooked Carrots
My family doesn't like cooked carrots, only I do. I made these & I liked them a lot. My mom, who REALLY hates carrots, said they weren't that bad, and so did my dad. My picky little sister didn't like them. So, it just depends on taste, I guess. They were sweet, which was really good.
