Brownie Batter + Cupcake = The SECOND BEST Cupcake. Ever

Delicious!!! My family couldn't stop eating these. I used a yellow cake mix, frosted some with chocolate and white icing left some plain. This recipe will get plenty of use at my house.

World's Best Lasagna

This is an excellent lasagna recipe. The sauce is soo...delicious, I had some extra and used it with spaghetti noodles. Making it is worth all the time and effort!!

Japanese Chicken Wings

These wings are excellent! I made a few modifications for my taste. I use oil to fry the wings and add less vinegar and soy sauce substituting orange juice for a little more flavor. Adding a table spoon of cornstarch helps thicken up the sauce. I spice it up a bit by adding ground ginger and crushed red pepper flakes. They always seem to be the talked about item when taken to events that I now remember to bring along copies of the recipe.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake II

This cake takes some effort but it is well worth it. I have made it several times and have never been disappointed. I usually cut the sugar down to 3 cups and take 1/4 cup out of this to beat with the egg whites. I add butter nut and vanilla flavoring and a sprinkle of mace for added extra flavor. The recipe calls for a bunt pan, I'm able to make a small loaf cake out of the batter as well. This has become one of my most requested recipes.

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Easy simple and delicious! This is an awesome recipe, I had no idea it would turn out to be one of "my" listed comfort foods. I changed the recipe slightly by adding 1/2 cream of mushroom soup, along with 1/4 cup cooking sherry. I also sprinkled about a handful of Italian blend cheese over it halfway through baking.
