Grandma Johnson's Scones
This was a great recipe as is - I didn't have cream of tartar so I used vinegar instead, worked out well. I divided the dough into three, kept one plain, added orange juice & zest to one, and added chopped pecans & cinnamon to the other. They are wonderful!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
I made the common substitutions and doubled all the spices except for the ginger and it was fantastic. I'm taking this to my church social in two days and am wondering if I'll eat it all before then. {goes great with cinnamon hazelnut coffee}
