Chole Saag
This was OK. Tasted better the second day, but even then and even with me adding a little extra seasoning and some paneer, it still tasted rather bland. I think the chickpeas detract from the dish both in texture and flavor, and if I play around with this dish and make it again, I'll leave those out. EDIT: On the third day, it actually tasted better still. I think the key to this one is letting it sit for at least one day (this is like a lot of soups: they always taste better the next day) and making sure you add enough but not too much salt.

Molasses Cookies
Pretty good. In future, I will up the spices as others have suggested. These have a nice, soft texture, too. My mom's recipe has much more molasses in it, so these didn't seem 'molasses-y' enough to me. They're somewhere between a soft ginger snap and my mom's cookie. Tasty, but I'll be upping the molasses.

Jalapeno Bread I
Mmm, quite good. Not too hot, but it has a bite. My machine on the regular setting overcooked this a little, so just a note, may want to watch it in yours. I also tried cubing the cheese instead of grating it, but I didn't get the occasional gooey bite like I wanted. Well, I'll be making this again, and try something different then.
