About this Cook
I am 43 years old, presently live in a quite town in the south of Sweden with my husband and son. I have been living in several countries before I finally settled down in this lovely place.
My favorite things to cook
Sea food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Swedish-Finish tradition. Starting with rice porridge for breakfast continue with Christmas dinner in the afternoon with cold-smoked salmon, smoked eel, pickle fishes and Christmas dark bread as starter; Christmas ham, meat balls, potato gratins, wiener sausage, mother-in-law special bake liver paté and carrot paté as main course and several Christmas cakes and bakes for dessert.
My cooking triumphs
My special beef roll, using many spices and baked in the clay.
My cooking tragedies
Swedish dish called 'Tjälknul'. It is a beef dish from old recipe. The beef should be baked for 10-12 hours in very low heat (from frozen) but somehow it became nearly 20 hours before it reach the right temperature. Something was wrong but it was done finally. Unfortunately our guests must eat pizza instead of the favorite menu.

Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup
This recipe is so good, smooth but tasty! I made a little change for my son as he prefers smooth soup. I took a portion and put it in the blender before I boiled the tortellini. All of us love it very much. Thank you!
