married over 20 years, two children - grown. Love to try new recipes all the time. I really like baking, seems to come out the best for me. But I do just love cooking in general. I make a mean banana bread and beer bread. I started my kids out cooking one meal a week when they were 7. This has been a lot of fun and they now impress all there friends because they really know how to cook, even at such a young age. Becuase of teaching my son how to cook early on he made a wonderful Valentine dinner for his girlfriend with cherries flambe for dessert. And he is only 19. The first turkey disaster. It was so tender and juicy it fell off the bones and I just sat and cried that I could not have the whole turkey presentation. They all laughed at me and said "at least it is not dry." I guess my husband knew then that he was in for some wonderful meals, even if I didn't think so.
