WHEN I WAS YOUNGER MY WHOLE FAMILY WOULD ALWAYS GET TOGETHER ON SUNDAYS TO EAT MY GRANDMA'S HOME COOKING. THE MENU USUALLY INCLUDED PINAPPLE HAM, HOMEMADE MAC-N-CHEESE, COLLARD GREENS, CANDIED YAMS, CORNBREAD AND BANANA PUDDING FOR DESSERT. MY GRANDMA WAS A PHENOMENAL WOMAN WHO ALWAYS EXPRESSED THE IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY. SHE ALWAYS CATERED TO HER FAMILY BY COOKING. AS A WIFE AND MOTHER I'M TRYING TO CARRY ON THE TRADITION OF FAMILY TIME AT DINNER TIME. I'VE BEEN GETTING MORE CREATIVE IN THE KITCHEN AND WE ALWAYS EAT TOGETHER AS A FAMILY. THE KIDS AND I RECENTLY MADE RATATOUILLE AND I MUST ADMIT IT WAS REALLY GOOD AND PROBABLY SOMETHING WE WILL MAKE AGAIN. MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVES FOR ME TO MAKE LASAGNA AND I MAKE ALL DIFFERENT TYPES. MY HUSBAND LOVES MY POTATOE CASSEROLE. MY FRIENDS ENJOY MY GREEK SALAD.
