Me and My Baby:)
About this Cook
I'm a twenty eight year old mother of two. I work full-time at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. It's a great experience to work so closely w/ the men and women who risk their lives so I can do what I love to do!!
My favorite things to cook
I just like to cook new things:) I'm no chef:) I just like to cook new things for my family!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My siblings and I like to come together every now and then w/ our kids and cook a nice big meal for my mother and father!! We have a lot of great food and a lot of fun!!
My cooking triumphs
My secret is I've only been living on my own for a couple of years and I was a mommy's girl. She did the cooking and I did the eating:) I only started really cooking a couple of years ago and I love it!! I love pasta!!! I'm scared to make things I love b/c I don't want to be disappointed... Well I wanted a Lasagna soo bad and my mom wouldn't make one for me:( So I decided I would make it myself... The first time I made it... not good!!! But by the third time... Wow!!! It was soo good!!! I was really proud of myself!! I'm getting there!!
My cooking tragedies
A lot of my techniques come from my husband:) We've been together for over 5 years and he's great w/ suggestions things to sprouse up a bland meal. I learn by trial and error... you gotta learn some how:) One time my husband (boyfriend at the time) wanted a meatloaf. I had only made a meatloaf once or twice... well it came out the oven looking great until I tasted it!!! I forgot to put any seasoning in it!!!!! The worst meatloaf ever!!! lol

The Best Chocolate Cake You Ever Ate
Even though I had technical difficulties w/ finding a cake pan (don't ask me why they seemed to be all out at every store!!) This was such an awesome cake!! This was my very first cake that I've made from scratch and it was very easy to follow and the results were even better. Thanks Candacemarie

Incredible Chicken
Soooo good!!!! I used this recipe on Chicken breast peices, I used garlic powder instead of salt, but sprinkled season salt to substitute for the salt needed... I served this w/ the Brazillian Rice from this site and it was a hit!! Thank you Ananymous!?!?!?!
